About Members of the Scottish Parliament (MSPs)
MSPs take part in examining and passing proposed laws (Bills). They represent you in the Scottish Parliament and your local area. And they examine the work of the Scottish Government.
An MSP could also have another role, for example as a minister in the Scottish Government.
Find out how an MSP's role is different from other people who represent you.
